Summoned Units cannot be recruited into a Faction's army like other Units - instead, they appear on the battlefield instantly when a particular Power is used, or when summoned by a particular Hero. They do not cost any resources and do not require any command points, but will only remain in the battle for a certain period of time before disappearing again, making them ideal for surprise attacks and ambushes.
